Patronal Festival with Combined Eucharist

Today is the Patronal Festival of Pinner Parish Church, and we welcome as our guest preacher the Revd Dr Nicholas Cranfield. Fr. Cranfield was born and educated in Pinner, received Doctorates from both Oxford and Cambridge, and was ordained in 1986. He is a former Dean and Fellow of both Selwyn and Newnham Colleges, Cambridge, and is currently Vicar of All Saints', Blackheath. He has also been closely involved in the training and formation of clergy in the Diocese of Oxford. He writes regularly for the Church Times and other publications on the theology of artistic representation, and is a C17th and C18th church historian. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.
