“King David said to his son Solomon: `Be confident and determined. Start the work and don’t let anything stop you. The Lord God, whom I serve, will be with you. He will not abandon you, but he will stay with you until you finish the work to be done on his Temple.’”

1 Chronicles 28, v20

The final cost of all the restoration work done to date and still needed is likely to exceed £1million.

To date these works have been funded from three sources:

  • Fundraising from church members and local community
  • Monies raised by the Friends of Pinner Parish Church (FPPC)
  • Careful and judicial use of available reserves.

The Friends continue to work very hard at raising money for their stated purpose: the maintenance and restoration of our church. They have been very generous across many years and that generosity has enabled some of the work to take place.

However, there will need to be further funds raised in order to fully complete the restoration in time for the 700th anniversary in 2021.

You can help in a variety of ways:

  • Make a donation, which could include a gift of shares
  • Set up a standing order for one, two or three years
  • Leave a legacy
  • Support our Restoration events – keep an eye on the website for details of forthcoming events
  • Organise a restoration event – the more imaginative the better!
