'More than a Man and a Whale'

Father Paul will be leading a 3 week series of study on the book of Jonah. There is a wealth of material packed into 4 chapters and a total of 48 verses, and there are riches to be had and discovered.

So, please join him in the hall at 10.00 am on the following Saturdays: 

26 September 
A prophet in rebellion; an introduction and Chapter 1 

3 October
Out of the deep; Chapter 2 

17 October
Mission accomplished; Chapter 3 
Exploring anger; Chapter 4

There will also be accompanying notes concerning the historical, sociological and other issues of Jonah’s time.

None of this requires anything other than an enquiring mind and a willingness to study the Bible. Research degrees in Old Testament theology are not required! However, having read the book beforehand would be an advantage.
